Welcome to Lads Go Skiing 2012, a social skiing trip for members of LadsLads.com. Snowboarders are welcome too!
This year, we will be heading to Meribel, a great resort in the French Alps suitable for all levels of skiiers and snowboarders, from beginner to expert.

Level: Members of all abilities are welcome, from beginners to veteran skiiers and boarders.
Dates: The trip will be for 7 nights from Sunday 8 January 2012 to Sunday 15 January 2012.
The main flight from London Gatwick departs 1.10pm on Sunday 8 January. The return flight arrives London Gatwick at 12.00pm on Sunday 15 January.
Accommodation: We will be staying in Chalet Cote D'Arlin. This is a four star, six room chalet which can host between 12 - 14 people. The chalet will be for the exclusive use of Lads Go Skiing.
Transport: Flights between London Gatwick and Chambery are included in the price (small supplement for flights from most other UK airports). The price also includes transfers between Chambery airport and the chalet.
The chalet will also run a minibus service to and from the slopes in the mornings and afternoons.
Food: The chalet will have staff, including a chef who will prepare breakfast, afternoon tea and a 4-course dinner (including complimentary wines). The staff get one day off a week, so we can either head out for dinner or cook for ourselves that evening.
We will be eating lunch on the piste. There are plenty of mountain restaurants, or you can bring up small snacks or a packed lunch if you want to save time and money.
Entertainment: Meribel has some decent après-skis nightspots, including Rond Point (a bar you can ski straight into at the bottom of the slopes). There is also the famous Dicks Tea Bar, which is a night club very close to our chalet.
As we'll have the entire chalet to ourselves, we can also make full use of the living room with comfy sofas and a log-burning stove for quiet(er) nights in.
Cost: We have managed to negotiate a fantastic deal through Dare2Ski who will be providing the holiday through Ski Total.
The basic price will be £565 per person, with lift pass and equipment hire on top.
